Did you know that an independent clause is a phrase that can stand by itself?
Good grammar is important because grammar lets others understand our thoughts.

  2. An interesting fact I learned about grammar this year is, a dependent clause can't stand by itself, and depends on an independent clause. I think good grammar is important because if you have to write when you are working in your career people could get a bad impression on you if you have bad grammar.

  3. 1. One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got into my pajamas I'll never know.

This sentence may be crazy sounding but is still grammatical. Can you explain this?

Also, who can tell Mrs. Cole when National Grammar Day occurs?

  6. I've learned that collective nouns are nouns that can be singular and refer to a group of nouns (group is an example)! Good grammar is important because it means people will see you're well educated and you know what you are talking about.
